MAKING AN APPOINTMENT
To make an appointment with us, please just give our office a call at (806) 934-2983 and we will help schedule you at a convenient date and time.
BEFORE YOUR APPOINTMENT
Please help us to ensure that your visit does not cost you more than necessary by knowing what your insurance companies policies are. Most insurance companies do not require a referral before making an appointment with an OB/Gyn, but we always recommend knowing what your insurance requires before you make an appointment. If you aren't sure, we can always help you find out.
LATE FOR AN APPOINTMENT? NEED TO RESCHEDULE?
If you are more than 15 minutes late for your scheduled time, we may need to reschedule your appointment. If you will be unable to make your appointment at all, please contact our office to cancel or to reschedule, preferably 24 hours in advance, so we may allow another patient to be seen in your place.
WHAT TO BRING TO YOUR APPOINTMENT
Please assist us by providing the following information at every visit:.
Your picture ID.
Your medical insurance card (especially if your insurance has changed.)
Please let us know if you have had any changes to medications you are taking or if you have had any procedures or surgeries since your last visit.
If you are transferring from another provider, please just let us know when you schedule to make an appointment and we will let you know what you will need to bring.
FINANCIAL POLICY
Office Visits & Surgeries:
Full payment, copays, and deductibles are
due at the time of your appointment. Our office also collects full payment (copays and deductible) at the time an elective surgery is scheduled. Every effort is made to accurately estimate this charge, but please be aware that this will only be an estimate. The final determination of payment will lie with your insurance carrier. For new mothers, you will be billed accordingly for services after the birth of your child. Please note the caveat below so you can be prepared for the cost of your medical treatment.
Caveat:
The fees discussed by us with you represent the fees for the services provided by Moore County Obstetrics & Gynecology only. Hospital, laboratory, imaging, or other physician services will not be included in this estimate.
INSURANCE INFORMATION
Insurance companies and their policies are known to vary greatly in regards to appointments with OB/Gyns. Some require you to be referred from your Primary Care Physician while most others allow you to make an appointment with an OB/Gyn directly.
You may check with your insurance company to determine what they require in order to cover your appointment with us, or our office can gladly determine that for you before we schedule you in.
