OB/Gyns specialize in obstetrics and gynecology.

Obstetrics is specific to pregnancy, child birth, and postpartum (the period after child birth). Gynecology is specific to the health of the female reproductive system throughout all stages of a woman's life. OB/Gyns see patients in both a clinical setting (seeing regularly scheduled patients in their clinics) and in a surgical setting (be it during labor, to perform a cesarean section, or other corrective surgeries.
